The owners are lovely and always free for a chat about the area or to serve sweets and ice cream from the Ye Olde Steppes shop. We recieved the most fabulous welcome basket and found the cottage to be immaculate and full of character. We enjoyed sitting in the garden, enjoying the quiet and watching the stars. This is a great base for exploring the area, with a stream and countryside walks on your doorstep.

Adrian and Sam were wonderful hosts. The property is lovely, an absolute gem. Right in the heart of the village, but it never felt anything other than calm.
