You can also try caving, abseiling, canoeing and a high wire rope course if you re feeling adventurous. The property is well positioned for exploring the riverside towns of Ross on Wye (5 miles), hailed as the birthplace of modern tourism with its 17th century market house, and Monmouth (6 miles), the birthplace of Henry V. Visit Goodrich Castle, established in 1095, set majestically within a wooded hill, and the spectacular views from Symonds Yat rock are also not to be missed.
