Valley View is a highly praised cottage in Herefordshire, consistently lauded for its cleanliness, stunning location, and welcoming hosts. Guests enjoy the peaceful setting, the proximity to local attractions, and the presence of friendly alpacas and dogs. The cottage's comfort and well-equipped facilities contribute to a relaxing break, although some guests note the spiral staircase and Wi-Fi signal could be improved. Overall, the property offers a delightful rural retreat.

Guests unanimously commend the cottage for its spotless condition and the extra COVID precautions observed. The consistent mention of cleanliness in the reviews reflects the high standards maintained by the owners.

The location is celebrated for its beautiful views and tranquillity, with easy access to local walks and towns. Some guests found it tricky to find initially, but this does not detract from the overall appreciation of the setting.

The cottage is described as comfortable and cosy, with a well-equipped kitchen and welcoming touches. Some guests mention the beds and sofas could be improved, and the spiral staircase may not suit everyone.

Facilities are generally praised for being well-maintained and comprehensive, including a dishwasher and washing machine. However, a few guests experienced issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and suggested better directions for arrival.

Many guests express gratitude for the thoughtful welcome basket provided by the hosts, which includes local goodies. It's noted that such gifts enhance the stay, although they may vary and are not guaranteed.

The owners and their daughters were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing too much trouble for them. Dogs were so friendly, such characters. The countryside around the property is delightful with lovely walks and lots of wildlife. If you spot eggs for sale at the end of properties in the local lanes, buy them. They are so fresh and delicious and much cheaper than the shops. Thank you also to the owners for the gift of Butty Bach, Weston's cider and local crisps. Certainly great introduction to local produce which we've bought to take home with us.

Owners very welcoming and friendly. Lots to do in the local area. Will definitely be returning.

It is close to lots of places but feels a million miles away. The cottage was clean, well maintained and had everything you need, a real home away from home. Mr and Mrs Mitchell are friendly and helpful and the alpacas, sheep and dogs were an added bonus. We are already tempted to rebook for our next time off as we enjoyed ourselves so much. Thankyou!
