The market town of Bridgnorth lies in two very distinct halves - the High Town and the Low Town - separated by the red sandstone ridge on which the town is built. The two halves are connected by winding streets and flights of steps, or there is always the steep funicular railway, enabling the weary traveller to glimpse what Charles I called "the finest view in all my kingdom". A bustling Saturday street market provides an ample excuse to explore the town and examine the castle ruins, which lean at a greater angle than the Leaning Tower of Pisa! Flowing below is the River Severn, providing many pleasant riverside walks. The Severn Valley Railway runs between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, and runs a variety of steam and diesel engines through picturesque country stations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free retreat! One of the standout features of the property is the cave with the hot tub. It truly offers a unique and luxurious experience. The cave is beautifully designed, creating a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The hot tub, surrounded by natural stone and ambient lighting, provides the ultimate relaxation after a day of exploring.

The cottage is well stocked with all your essentials, even poo bags and dog towels were provided if you needed them! Welcome pack was fab and the owner even checked for allergies before putting the pack together. The hot tub in the cave is a real experience and was very much enjoyed by myself and the other half.

Bed very comfortable. Parking on the outside road was never a problem esp. with the parking permits. So many walks directly from the cottage and many dog friendly pubs within the immediate area. A great place to stay.....
