Guests say

Minton Lane Cottage is a well-regarded holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and stunning location ideal for walking and enjoying the Shropshire countryside. Guests appreciate the attentive host and the property's proximity to good pubs and local attractions. While some minor issues are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests planning return visits.

The cottage consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being very clean and well-maintained. This suggests that cleanliness is a priority for the property.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, beautiful views, and proximity to walking trails and local pubs. It serves as an excellent base for exploring the Shropshire hills, contributing to its high score.

Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of a comfortable bed and cosy living space. Some guests noted issues with heating controls and furniture arrangement, but these are relatively minor compared to the overall positive feedback.

Facilities are generally seen as good, with the property being well-equipped for most guests' needs. However, there are comments about the lack of certain kitchen items and a small fridge, which slightly lower the score.

There is insufficient information to score thoughtfulness as there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the host that would indicate a level of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

It is very comfortable and well supplied with everything needful. Our only challenge was the very small fridge....ok if you eat out every day, but we cook from scratch, and therefore had to shop very frequently, as we couldn't store lots of fresh food. Fortunately I had spotted this in the photograph of the kitchen, so came with suitable quantities. Obviously, this wasn't too much of a problem, and certainly didn't spoil our holiday. We loved the area and did lots of walking on the Long Mynd, as well as exploring local places of interest. Thank you Sarah for providing a lovely place to stay!

Very comfortable and clean place to stay set in the hills. Fully equipped and with easy parking made it an enjoyable stay.

Unfortunately we were staying here when the heavans opened and the lane became a river and was almost impossible in both directions. The accommodation is good, but smaller than we expected...bed was excellent and all the equipment was fine...a couple of points I'd raise is that there wasn't a place to hang any wet coats downstairs....also an hoover would of be handy as there was only a brush and dust pan...also it would have been nice to have a T.V. in the bedroom...oh and a plug for kitchen sink...Bathroom was fine with a good shower. All in all a lovely place to stay, not to far from 2 local pubs...we would certainly stay here again.
