Willow River Lodge in Craven Arms, Shropshire, is highly praised for its stunning setting, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests frequently mention the peacefulness of the location, the well-equipped lodge, and the added luxury of a hot tub. The thoughtful touches by the owners, such as a bottle of Prosecco, are appreciated, though not guaranteed for every stay.
The majority of guests have reported the lodge to be immaculately clean and well-maintained, with only a single mention of minor issues, which suggests that cleanliness is consistently upheld to a high standard.
The location is frequently described as beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for nature lovers, with many guests enjoying the wildlife and the river. The proximity to local attractions and pubs adds to the appeal.
Comfort is a strong point for the lodge, with numerous guests finding the beds dreamily comfortable and the lodge cosy. A few guests mentioned the beds being a bit small for taller individuals, which slightly impacts the score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the hot tub and log burner being highlights. However, there are some concerns about maintenance, such as an out-of-date gas certificate and a non-working TV, which suggest room for improvement.
Guests often express gratitude for the thoughtful gestures, such as welcome drinks and Christmas decorations. While these are highly appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed for every guest.

My husband and me had a priceless time with out twin boys.We relaxed completely and we enjoyed the river, the birds, the ducks, the squirrels, the chickens and the sheep that were coming around. Our place was really clean and welcoming. It was so comfortable and relaxing that it went beyond our expectations. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning with amazing walks in the woods and vast opportunities to enjoy and appreciate nature. We will definitely come back again.
