Glebe Barn in Shropshire is highly praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the property's tranquil location. The owner, Ian, is frequently mentioned for his friendliness and helpfulness. Despite minor suggestions for improvements, the overall sentiment is extremely positive, with many guests planning to return.
Guests consistently note the property's first-class cleanliness, with many reviews highlighting this aspect positively. There is only one mention of lounge furniture comfort, which does not directly relate to cleanliness.
The location is described as beautiful, tranquil, and perfect for exploring Shropshire and Ludlow. It is well-received for its proximity to local attractions and countryside walks. The score is slightly less than perfect due to one mention of the weather affecting their experience, which is beyond the property's control.
Comfort is highly rated, with guests finding the property spacious and the beds comfortable. However, there are a few mentions of lounge furniture and towels being less comfortable, which slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen and dedicated showers. Some guests suggest improvements such as upgrading the TV and providing more fridge space, which indicates room for enhancement.
While the reviews reflect a high level of satisfaction with the hosts' welcoming nature and helpfulness, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches beyond the provision of standard amenities. Therefore, a score cannot be provided for this category.

The hosts were great and very accommodating. We had a baby in the group and they made sure everything was set up. Both made us feel really welcome. The place was nice and clean and had everything we needed. We have already informed the hosts that we'll be returning soon.

This could mean that we might be unable to rebook in the future! Itâs a truly stunning property, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Our family of five had plenty of room, The kitchen and family room areas were beautiful, and the board games left for the kids were really appreciated. The hosts also left milk, coffee, and tea for us, and that was very much appreciated, particularly when travelling with children.
