Inglenook is a well-received cottage in Ludlow, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and welcoming touches like tea and biscuits. Its location is appreciated for being within walking distance to town, despite the unlit access track. The property is described as cosy, well-equipped, and suitable for both short and long stays, with a peaceful garden and efficient central heating.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotless condition. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness maintained by the owners.
The location is generally praised for its proximity to Ludlow and quiet setting, though some guests mention the unlit, muddy access track. The convenience to local amenities and attractions is a recurring positive aspect.
Comfort is well-regarded, with several mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, a few guests found the mattresses hard and the seating in the lounge insufficient for larger groups, slightly affecting the score.
Facilities are mostly appreciated, especially the well-equipped kitchen and central heating. Some guests experienced issues with the front door lock and suggested improvements like additional sun beds and a second bathroom for convenience.
The thoughtfulness of the owners is evident through welcome gestures like tea, coffee, and biscuits. While some guests received additional items like wine and chocolates, it's important to note that such gifts, though delightful, are not guaranteed.
