The picturesque Welsh Marches scenery surrounds the mediaeval market town of Ludlow, which is located on the River Teme. The town has a wonderful variety of architecture, including Ludlow Castle, which is almost 900 years old and one of the first stone castles to be erected in England. The town has more than 500 listed structures. The castle is now open throughout the year and offers a variety of activities, such as outdoor theatre, culinary, art, and literature festivals, as well as several antique and art fairs. A huge public riverside green and weir are available at Millenium Green, which is located beneath the castle. The Green Cafe, which is close on the river, also offers good indoor and outdoor dining options. Street markets have been held in Ludlow since the eleventh century. Today, the town square hosts a classic open-air market every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday of the year. With the "Local to Ludlow" produce market on certain Thursdays and a "Antique & Flea market" on some Sundays, there are more than forty stalls selling a variety of goods, including fresh vegetables, cheeses, books, and a selection of local crafts. Additionally, Ludlow is a shopping and foodie's dream. Numerous restaurants and bars, as well as upscale boutique-style clothing and gift stores, can be found in the town. Everything was amazing. From the bed, the facilities (kitchen had everything we needed and more), the generous welcome pack, shower pressure and cleanliness. The location in beautiful Ludlow couldn't be bettered. Even the neighbors were lovely. We were sad to leave and can't wait to return. A special shout out to our wonderful host Helena. Exceptional service - genuine, helpful and kind. Thank you so much. We were very sad to leave.

Couldn't fault it. Everything was to a high standard, 2 minute walk into the centre of town. The owner HELENA was only a phone call away if you needed her. Underground car park was great. Would highly recommend this property. Will definitely return.

The house is super warm, clean, comfortable and stylish. The central location is so convenient for the town and the underground parking space is a real plus. You can park and forget about your car. We only used ours twice during our stay. Steeple Mews is also very quiet and peaceful despite being right in the middle of town. The only sound we heard was the delightful church bells and clock. Helena was very helpful in guiding us through the car lift and a great host. We can't wait to come back to stay again!
