Further afield lies the Welsh mountains, coast and Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, while the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, Medieval Shrewsbury and Roman Chester are also within driving distance.

Superbly equipped kitchen. Very nice shower. Lovely garden. A quiet and relaxing spot. The owners are really friendly and helpful, very welcoming. Parking was a problem, very tight on the drive. I don't think the fan in the bathroom is powerful enough, it took several hours to clear steam after a shower. There are also small mould patches by the windows, another sign of inadequate ventilation. (The Studio is north-facing, and it was too cold to open windows the week I was there.)

Everything and more was provided, several little positive touches added to the experience. I would definitely be prepared to stay here again. We visited a number of interesting places in the area and had some good walks. Thank you for making your property so comfortable and welcome.
