French doors from the living area lead directly onto a patio equipped with seating, fire pit and barbecue, as well as a dedicated garden area beyond. The property comes with off-road parking for two cars and is ideally-positioned within easy reach of the Alton Towers theme park, as well as the bustling cities of Stoke-on-Trent and Derby. This area of the Midlands, set close to the border of Staffordshire and Derbyshire, offers a wealth of sights and activities. Choose a day of adventure hiking or cycling locally; discover the Kingsley Bird & Falconry Centre, the Peak Wildlife Park and Go Ape at Cannock Chase; or go explore the numerous hills and caverns of the world-renowned Peak District National Park. In nearby Stoke-on-Trent, you can enjoy a leisurely day out exploring the 725 acres of gardens, woodlands, shops and eateries of the Trentham Estate, or venture towards the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery for exhibits of fine art and ceramics. The historic towns of Stone, Ashbourne and Leek each make for a full day out with eateries, independent shops and antiques in abundance. Located south-east of Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, England, Tean is a thriving community. The River Tean flows through the community on its way to Uttoxeter in the east. Upper Tean (the larger of the two villages) and Lower Tean (the smaller of the two) are part of the Checkley ward in Staffordshire Moorlands. You can easily drive to southern Peak District from the surrounding area, which is primarily agricultural and rural in nature. Numerous pubs and shops, a village hall and three churches can be found in the area, along with an elementary school and a small park. Stoke on Trent, a little further away, is home to numerous visitor centres, award-winning museums, authentic factory tours, over 25 pottery factory shops, and the prestigious Staffordshire Hoard. The Trentham Estate features Italian Gardens, a Shopping Village, a Monkey Forest, and a mile-long lake. Birmingham, Manchester, and Liverpool are all within an hour of the city, and London Euston is an hour and a half away by train.
