Kineton 0.8 miles. Oldwyche Barns is a delightful abode settled into the countryside location of Little Kineton, near Kineton. With close by amenities and attractions, this property is an ideal choice for a couple looking for a base in Warwickshire. Park up and be welcomed into this wooden clad property, discovering a contemporary open-plan living space with a kitchen with a good selection of amenities to cater to your culinary needs. There is a dining space where you can enjoy a romantic meal for two, complemented by a glass of fizz. The sitting area is ideal for relaxing with a coffee as you plan the day ahead of you. When sleep calls, freshen up in the shower room before cosying up for the night in the king-size bedroom. Outside there is a sitting area where you can dine alfresco. Kineton is a charming town offering a convenience store for all of your holiday essentials, as well as a selection of eateries and pubs, with options including The White Swan and Gilks' Garage Café. Why not visit The Castle at Edgehill, a historic pub made in the design of Warwick Castle in the 18th Century situated directly above the Civil War battlefield. It has superb views of the Vale of Red Horse where you can see far off into several surrounding counties. If you are first time guests here and are dining in, they will often try and put you in the glazed dining area so that you get to see all of the views! Kineton is a small village resting on the River Dene in Warwickshire. Being part of the Strartford-on-Avon district, this village is historically known for its 18th century windmill as well as its military connections when Kineton was a transit camp for Polish and Czechoslovakian troops. Today, Kineton has the wonderful St Peter's church which is a lovely place for visitors. Local shops include a Co-op, butchers, flower shop, a fish and chips shop and two public houses. Shukurs Brasserie is a lovely Indian restaurant to consider for a dining option as well as The White Swan offering a more relaxed bite with some pub grub. The River Dene offers the perfect place for a lovely summer stroll along the stream while The Green is a great patch for your four-legged companion. Within easy reach of Kineton is the popular Birtish Motor museum which has over 300 classic cars to see and has its own interactive features. Slightly further out you can find Stratford-Upon-Avon which has further attractions like Escape Live Stratford Upon Avon, Magic Alley and of course Shakespeare's Birthplace.
