The Boat House is a delightful Grade II listed property, sitting on the edge of a beautiful man-made lake within 10 acres of rural countryside. This unique property offers a unique stay for those who want the best of indoor and outdoor country living.

Stepping into the characterful property, you find stylish interiors throughout which blend with the many period features including mullion windows, flagstone floors and the original internal access to the lake.

The Boat House offers a large open-plan, modern kitchen and dining space which is well-equipped for the keenest of chef's, whilst the dining area provides the perfect place to gather around and plan your day ahead. The sliding doors lead out onto the balcony.

The sitting room boasts a wood burning stove, which you can enjoy through the floor to ceiling windows, framing the lake and surrounding countryside, and allowing ample natural light to fill the room.

The large utility and boot room gives you direct access to the boathouse launch room, and door which leads you to the extensive gardens which surround the lake.

The Boat House offers three bedrooms. Bedroom one is situated on the first floor with it's own large en-suite bathroom, and boasts views of the lake from its own private balcony where you can soak up the morning sun and enjoy a cup of coffee. Bedroom's two and three are situated on the second floor and provide the perfect place to relax after a day on the lake. These two bedrooms share the family bathroom.

Outside at The Boat House is truly special, get out onto the lake with the five meter aluminium punt and enjoy a picnic or drink on the water or take one of the fishing rods with you and spend some time fishing. Paddle boards are also available to guests which can be converted into kayaks for more fun on the water. Once you are back on land, you can rinse yourself down using the warm outdoor shower, and then relax in the hot tub.

If you would rather spend time on land, explore through the lawns and gardens through to the circular path which runs alongside the lake, or adventure through the woodland. Avid birdwatchers may wish to bring their binoculars, where you can go into the bird hide and spot the resident birds such as the mute swan, duck, heron, grebes, coot, moorhen, kingfisher, and much more.

The balcony provides ample of seating, where you can enjoy the countryside and woodland views across the lake.

Six life jackets are provided (two large, two medium and two small).

A five meter aluminium punt with seating, oars, and small motor provided for guests to use.

Four fishing rods, and two paddle boards (which can convert into kayaks) are provided for guests to use.

Please bring your own wetsuits.

The bedding is non-feather.

A hairdryer is provided in bedrooms one and two.
