The town offers a refreshing selection of individual shops, a local brewery, pubs and restaurants, including The Lamp, Gauthama, and The Stable Tavern, but is most famous for its unique church, which has a peculiar, crooked steeple. Continue onto Ludlow, where you will find the magnificent Ludlow Castle, Linney Riverside Park, the charming Ludlow Market held weekly, closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and five Michelin Star restaurants, Forelles, Mortimers. French Pantry, Charlton Arms and Old Downton Lodge, perfect for foodies! Further afield, you’ll find Bridgnorth, an idyllic town split into High Town and Low Town, home to the Severn Valley Railway, Bridgnorth Castle and Gardens, Bridgnorth Cliff Railway, and a variety of cocktail bars, pubs and restaurants. It was everything a guest would need provided by Rachel, the property owner. The location is conveniently situated about halfway between Ludlow and Kidderminster, with lots of things for tourists. The idyllic setting in the Common is quiet and peaceful. The landscaping at the house is lovely and the surrounding countryside views are beautiful. It is obvious that Rachel has put lots of love into making our visit wonderful.
