Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The apartment is in a great location within walking distance of all the shops and lots of pubs and cafes and lovely walks in the countryside. The apartment was very clean, comfy beds, with lovely decor and lots of personal touches. The bottle of Prosecco, homemade cookies, milk and eggs were much appreciated. The owner was also very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this lovely place to friends and family and we all said weâd like to go back in the near future.

Rooms were warm and reasonably clean . First bedroom at top of stairs ( landing ) , only has headroom to stand for one third of room and a door to second bedroom with similar headroom . Light for stairs is also light for first bedroom , so little privacy for guests. Previous guests have stated ' great welcome pack with bread and wine etc ' , we had three biscuits and four eggs . Information states oven, hob , and microwave ( three items ) , there is NO oven , microwave has an oven feature and hob is a two ring plug in , mobil unit , no proper cooker . There was only ONE dinner plate ( and 22 side plates ) and freezer compartment in the fridge was totally frozen solid .Haworth is a great place to visit , we had a lovely time and left only one day early .
