Oakworth is a small village two miles from Haworth that overlooks the Worth Valley and was made famous by the filming of E.E. Nesbitt's novel, The Railway Children in 1970. Oakworth boasts a magnificent ornamental park and is within easy reach of the town of Keighley, in addition to its vicinity to Haworth and the moors. The famed Brontë sisters, who were much inspired by the surrounding moorland, lived in nearby Haworth. Haworth features a plethora of curious and antique shops, as well as alleyways and cobblestone streets.

The owners were on site at all times if you needed anything or advice (places to go, directions etc) Nothing was a problem! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and want to return in the future and will recommend this little gem to friends and family

The place is in a great central location to use as a base to go and visit the likes of Haworth, hebden bridge and Skipton. It was great to see the improvements they have made since last year. If you are an animal lover itâs a must too meet Byron the cat who has a tendency to just walk in when your back is turned and the two loveable dogs Bella and Delilah. Canât wait to come back again next year!
