Tucked away amongst 10 glorious acres of woodland on the outskirts of Hipperholme, West Yorkshire, rests this striking Victorian holiday home, Belvedere Farm. Set across four levels and comfortably sleeping up to 12 guests, Belvedere Farm is the perfect base for a group of friends or family looking for a countryside retreat. Journey through the woodland along the track road and park up at the foot of this magnificent dwelling, marvelling at the eye-catching Victorian architecture and the peaceful setting of the surrounding greenery before making your way inside to begin your staycation. Stepping inside, discover a handy utility room alongside a shower room, where you can freshen up your wardrobe and enjoy a quick rinse following a day of adventure. When stomachs start to rumble, make your way through to the well-equipped kitchen, where the designated chef can make use of the fantastic facilities to prepare heart-warming dishes before loading the dishwasher to keep the space neat and tidy. Uncork a chilled bottle of wine from the cooler and gather together with your guests in the nearby dining room to indulge, backed by the sound of your favourite show playing on the Smart TV, or make mealtimes an alfresco affair with a sociable seat on the patio, backed by the peaceful scenery of the still waters of the pond. Settle down for the evening with a sumptuous spot in front of the Smart TV in the sitting room, uniquely positioned on the first floor and thoughtfully laid out with a traditional décor of exposed wooden beams and a rustic woodburning stove. Get better acquainted with your surroundings and take a leisurely stroll through the extensive grounds that envelope your new home-from-home where you can watch the ducks as the play on the peaceful waters of the pond. The property also has a pool table, dartboard, bar and sofas in a detached building in the grounds. Take a break from doing the cooking and venture into the heart of Hipperholme where you'll find a fantastic selection of delicious eateries on offer, ranging from elegant restaurants, traditional pubs and convenient takeaways, promising to serve something to suit all tastes and budgets, or if you'd prefer, head to the local shop to pick-up some tasty treats to enjoy from the comfort of your holiday home. Be sure to pack your clubs, as there's an 18-hole golf course to keep you entertained, along with the peaceful setting of Woodhead Park, perfect for a picnic. Set a stone's throw away are the bustling towns of Halifax and Brighouse, both well worth a visit and offering a fantastic selection of amenities and attractions.
