Sewerby is a peaceful village well known for Sewerby Hall a stately home with over 50 acres of landscaped gardens, it is one of the most visited attractions along the coast and is beautiful throughout the seasons. You are just one mile away from Bridlington which has miles of golden beach, as well as many attractions including the Spa theatre, an animal park as well as the historic old town featuring many quirky independent shops and cafés. On the other side of Sewerby you have Flamborough with its iconic lighthouse perched on the cliff edge, with a wonderful pathway along the cliff tops taking in the picturesque views of the white cliffs, as well as the wildlife; look out for the seals bobbing in the waves as well as puffins. Neighbouring Bempton Cliffs is a rspb bird reserve with thousands of sea birds nesting here each year. Watch courting gannets, as well as guillemots, puffins and kittiwakes raising their young.
