Bridlington’s lovely sandy beaches are just a short 10-15-minute walk away with everything you could need for the children, from donkey rides, mini golf and a leisure centre with clip and climb and swimming pool, to a traditional amusement arcade. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés, but for a special evening out head to the Bridlington Spa complex, where you can watch live shows all year round, from concerts to pantomimes. The land train is a great way to take in the scenic views of the bay and the harbour. From Bridlington you can catch the land train to the stately home of Sewerby Hall and Gardens. This is a great day out for the kids with a mini zoo, quiet picnic areas and lots of outdoor play areas. For the adults there are guided tours around the house and walled gardens. Further along the coast you have the resorts of Flamborough Head, Filey and Scarborough. The rspb bird sanctuary at Bempton is a great day out where you can spot gannets and colourful puffins. This is an ideal choice for a holiday to the stunning Yorkshire Coast. Beach ½ mile.
