A fabulous end-terrace cottage, close to the centre of the traditional seaside town of Hornsea. Beautifully refurbished, this Hornsea cottage provides first-class accommodation for those wanting a relaxing break by the sea, with all amenities nearby. Full of character, this Hornsea cottage has a cosy sitting room with a quarry tiled floor and a warming woodburner set in an old brick fireplace, so you can enjoy the charm of a countryside cottage with all the delights of a wonderful seaside location. With a modern kitchen and bathroom, this Hornsea cottage has the added bonus of underfloor heating on the ground floor, perfect for keeping your feet toasty as you sip an early morning cup of coffee. With two individually-styled bedrooms, this cottage in Hornsea provides a very comfortable and homely place to stay; the sheltered rear garden offers distant views of The Mere and a sunny patio for alfresco dining on summer evenings. The pretty seaside town of Hornsea lies on the East Coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington. This old Victorian resort has long, wide, safe sandy beaches and an attractive promenade with well-kept gardens, ideal for families. The bustling town centre has an old-fashioned feel with a good variety of small shops, pubs and cafes, whilst nearby Hornsea Mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Hornsea Freeport is popular for shopping, whilst Bempton Cliffs rspb reserve can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, offering one of the largest mainland puffin populations in Britain. Hornsea is near to Wassand Hall and walled gardens and provides a good base for touring the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors and the East Riding coastal resorts. The historic city of York and The Deep at Hull are within an easy drive.
