The thriving town centre is filled with a nice selection of local shops, bars, and cafes, while Hornsea Mere, the largest natural lake in Yorkshire, is close by and provides boat rides, sailing, and fishing. While Bempton Cliffs rspb reserve, home to one of Britain's greatest mainland puffin populations, can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, Hornsea Freeport is well known for its shopping. Wassand Hall and walled gardens are nearby, and Hornsea makes a wonderful home base for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds, North York Moors, and East Riding coastal destinations. Within a short distance are the historic city of York, Beverley with its renowned gothic cathedral, and The Deep in Hull.

We stayed for four nights and never used the car as we wandered around horncastle every day. The views from the lounge window was great and every morning we had a coffee with the windows open listening to the sea. We have already booked again for next year. The hosts were great too checking in to see if weâd enjoyed our stay.

The loft apartment gave us wonderful views out to sea and with the binoculars we could see further along the coast. The apartment was comfortable and clean; the owners provided everything we needed for our weekend break. We enjoyed walking our dog on the beach and the ease of access to the East coast attractions.

The views of the sea are amazing out of every window. Everything that you can think off is provided and more such as bedding, towels , kitchenware and more. We enjoyed plenty of sea walks and ice creams. Also central to most places either by car or bus route. We will be returning Iâm sure ln the future
