When we saw it we were so excited to get inside and we were not disappointed. All rooms are beautifully decorated in a luxurious but practical style, very much 5 star accommodation. The underfloor heating took a bit of getting used to but because we had glorious weather it was warm enough for us. There is a log burner if you need more heat. It has a private and peaceful garden, log fired hot tub and a spacious gazebo. We didn't use the hot tub on this occasion but the owners are on hand to help you out if you do want to use it. The location is perfect because you're in the heart of the country, surrounded by fields and woodland, whilst also being close to the town of Hornsea, shops and the coast. We saw a family of deer in the mornings and could hear the owls "chatting to each other" at night. The only thing we couldn't find was a shaver socket (luckily we'd taken our own) although I think the owners will have probably sorted this by now. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future. A really special place!

The barn provides every comfort you need and attention to detail in the finishing and decoration of the barn is a high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and returned home feeling relaxed and recharged. We hope to return in the warmer months to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor space.
