It was perfectly clean, warm and welcoming. Bentham is perfectly positioned for the Dales, the coast, the southern Lakes, Forest of Bowland and the Howgills. Cakes, milk and items for the dogs were very thoughtful. It was very dog friendly even to the point of having a pleasant walk right outside the door which made particularly early morning and late night dog walks very easy. We did feel that the kitchen could have been slightly better equipped otherwise it had everything we needed. Our one concern is that the house is on the market and we would have been very upset if we had booked and then not been able to go because it had been sold.

Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully arranged. The cottage is close to some great little shops, coffee shops and pubs. The dogs loved their walks on the heritage trail and their relaxing time in the pretty garden. Absolutely recommend this cottage for a relaxing stay in Yorkshire.
