About this property

An outstanding, detached barn conversion set on a working farm, just a few hundred yards from the breathtaking Ribblehead Viaduct. Recently refurbished, this cottage enjoys an enviable position with breathtaking views of the Ribblesdale countryside, including exceptional views of the famous Three Peaks. Furnished to a very high standard, this fabulous cottage exudes individual styling throughout as both the owners and the National Park authority have gone to great lengths to ensure that much of the original character of the barn has been retained. The cottage has been re-built using existing stone and has exposed stone walls, original oak beams and features a beautiful central stone arch separating the kitchen from the main dining room. Featuring an upside-down layout to take advantage of the magnificent views, the first floor consists of a main sitting room boasting a wonderful woodburner set in a feature fireplace. There is also a games room on the landing area, a bridge over the ground floor dining room and two beautiful bedrooms. The ground floor features a galleried central dining room with adjoining farmhouse-style kitchen and snug, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. With modern appliances throughout and an eco-friendly geothermal underfloor heating system, this cottage provides a first-class holiday home amongst the Three Peaks and the famous Ribblehead Viaduct. Take advantage of your superb location in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where you will find the fascinating White Scar Caves, the scenic Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, the imposing Yorkshire Three Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside, or head to Hawes to tour the Dale Countryside Museum, Gayle Mill, and visit the popular Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre. Further afield, you can truly experience the beauty of the National Park aboard The Settle and Carlisle Railway. With spacious gardens and a hot tub, the outside area more than matches the quality of the interior, making this a unique property and inspiring holiday home.

Situated in the heart of the Three Peaks, Chapel-le-Dale is a small hamlet consisting of the Ribblehead Viaduct, a railway station, a pub and a scattering of small farms and dwellings.
