As you pull up at the side of the road, and step into the property, you are welcomed with the homely sitting room as you plan a later evening of cuddling up on the corner sofa as the woodburning stove flickers before you. Stepping into the kitchen, which has everything you need to rustle up a romantic meal for your loved one, as well as a handy washing machine. After a long day, retire upstairs to the super-king-size bedroom which has lots of storage space to unpack, and is complimented by a bathroom where guests can relax their muscles or freshen up for an exciting day. For those wishing for more flexible sleeping arrangements, the bedroom can also offer twin beds, keeping everyone happy. The pretty village of Great Broughton has two lovely pubs, serving food, which make for a great evening out with your loved one. Alternatively, travel into the historic market town of Stokesley where the elegant streets offer a wider range of pubs and eateries, as well as shops for any self-catering essentials, or holiday gifts. The attractive town, once mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, is also home to a golf course, weekly Friday markets held on the main square and the the ancient Pack Horse Bridge which crosses over the River Leven. For a bit of sand and sea, head towards Saltburn-by-the–Sea where you can hop on board the miniature railway, relax on the sandy beach, indulge in some fish and chips at the bustling pier, or take a walk around the lovely gardens and the shoreside Hunt Cliff Nature Reserve. Also nearby you can enjoy the timeless villages and scenic walking trails of the North York Moors, or head for the shops at the large towns of Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees.
