The superb village pub, The Blackwell Ox is just a two-minute stroll away, famous for genuine traditional Thai food and the old British favourite foods, you can even order a takeaway. There are always six hand pulled real ales and in the winter, a cosy roaring fire. Carlton in Cleveland is a tranquil location offering wonderful access into the National Park where you can find scenery, nature and exploration like no other. In close reach is the historic town of Stokesley, home to a range of lovely independent shops, pubs and eateries as well as a large Coop and a convenience store in the centre, settled amongst its Victorian and Georgian buildings and also the Market town of Northallerton or choose to embark on a day trip further afield to find York, Newcastle or Leeds.
