Nestled in a tranquil location, it offers easy access to the Yorkshire Dales and local amenities in Skipton. Guests consistently describe the cottage as very clean and well-maintained, indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
The cottage's location is highly regarded for its proximity to the Moors, the Dales, and local attractions, with Skipton being easily accessible. The peaceful garden setting by a stream adds to its charm.
Reviews highlight the comfortable beds and homely atmosphere of the cottage. The presence of a wood burner and the sunroom are mentioned as contributing to the overall comfort.
While the cottage is well-equipped and guests are generally pleased with the facilities, some concerns about parking, dining space, and maintenance issues like the log burner and ceiling lights have been raised.
The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in the welcoming touches such as wine, milk, and biscuits. However, as these gifts may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.
