In the the heart of The Yorkshire Dales National Park, this characterful period cottage is surrounded by stunning scenery and ideally situated for anybody who loves walking, with both challenging hill climbs and a selection of more leisurely rambles along the beautiful River Wharfe. The cottage offers satellite TV as well as superfast broadband, ideal for streaming your favourite movies or music and, being in a location where mobile reception can be hard to find, a telephone with free unlimited calls to UK landline and mobile numbers is bound to come in handy. Full of character and charm, the cottage boasts a spacious lounge with inglenook fireplace, a warming woodburner, exposed beams and satellite TV. With a spacious and well-equipped quarry-tiled kitchen, a master bedroom offering glorious views across the dale and the beautiful River Wharfe, and one quaint twin bedroom, a stay at this lovely property is topped only by a relaxing walk to one the fabulous local pubs! The parish of Buckden is just a short drive away from the popular village of Kettlewell. Grassington, famed for its summer festival and Dickensian Christmas celebrations, is a 15-minute drive and Hawes, celebrated for its Wensleydale cheese, is approximately 12 miles away. The historic market town of Skipton, with its Norman castle and award-winning high street hosting a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, is 18 miles.

Buckden is a small village situated at the foot of Buckden Pike within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Within the village you will bring two cafes, a pub, a village green and a village shop, surrounded by wonderful scenery. For those feeling active, The Dales Way passes the village and the surrounding area offers a magnitude of walking routes to explore the superb countryside setting.
