Retaining original features with its exposed beams and stone walls, this unique property was once the servants’ quarter and dates to 1732. With its proximity to the bustling market town and pretty courtyard garden, the Georgian Cottage is ideal for either a romantic break for couples or a family of four. Be greeted by two private parking spaces to leave your vehicle before admiring the historical building. Enter into the well-presented sitting room, where you can look forward to curling up on the plush sofa with a good book at hand to relish the peaceful location. Discover the compact kitchen area, housing all the essentials for your self-catering stay, including an electric oven and hob, as well as a washing machine and dishwasher to take care of the chores! Enjoy dining together in the dining room, where a traditional, wooden table with seats for six guests awaits. On sunny days, make use of the bright and airy conservatory, with a TV for your entertainment and cottage furniture to lounge on. Be sure to utlise the lovely courtyard at the front of the cottage to soak in the sun and your canine companion can stretch their legs next to you. Bedale is a small market town, rich in history, which can be uncovered at the local museum. The town hosts a market on a Tuesday, churches, antique shops, cafes and pubs. There is a plethora of scenic walks to enjoy as well as pretty villages to explore. Within easy reach of Constable Burton Hall Gardens for woodlands to roam and Jervaulx Abbey, offering a tearoom. Bedale is an excellent position for exploring Swaledale, Wharfedale and the wonderful city of York.
