Guests say

Webstone House is a charming cottage nestled in a tranquil setting, praised for its cosy atmosphere, beautiful garden, and wildlife. Guests have enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the thoughtful welcome hamper. The property's location is ideal for exploring the North York Moors and nearby attractions, making it a delightful stay for families and nature enthusiasts.

While many guests found the cottage comfortable and well-equipped, there were some concerns about cleanliness, including dog hairs, a dirty outside fridge, and ash in the fires. However, these issues seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The cottage is very well-located for getting around North Yorkshire, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. Its peaceful setting in a pretty village close to Osmotherly is frequently mentioned and appreciated by guests.

Guests have reported the cottage as cosy and comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy wood burning stoves and comfortable beds. However, some guests noted height restrictions and the initial setting of the heating system as minor discomforts.

The property is well-equipped, with a kitchen that guests found satisfactory for their needs. However, there were reports of maintenance issues such as a leak, a non-functioning outside light, and a washing machine not working properly, which have impacted the score.

The welcome hamper was a highlight for guests, indicating a level of thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this score reflects the overall positive reception of the cottage's provisions and the host's responsiveness.

A lovely place to relax whether indoors or in the garden watching the local wildlife. We really didn’t want to leave. Hopefully we will return again one day.

The house had a well stocked kitchen( so rare in holiday cottages!) and we were left a lovely welcome package. It was also wonderful to watch the birds on the bird feeders every morning! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
