Spofforth is a lovely North Yorkshire village located 5 miles south of Harrogate and 3 miles north west of Wetherby. The parish church of All Saints Church, two pubs, the Castle and the Railway, and a variety of small enterprises can all be found in this town. Spofforth Castle, which was previously home to the Percy family until the late 14th century, is worth a visit for some history. The surviving remains can be found today, with free admission and lovely footpaths surrounding them.
