The Rigg, south facing and set prominently in the Dale above the small village of Langthwaite, offers the visitor unparalleled access to the beauty of Arkengarthdale in particular and the Yorkshire Dales National Park in general. Visitors with young children will find plenty of moorland streams in which to play or make dams. Locally we have pony trekking or for the more energetic mountain bikes can be hired.
