The town, which is situated between Buttertubs and Fleet Moss, is a great starting point for exploring Wensleydale as well as the neighbouring dales of Swaledale, Cotterdale, Dentdale, Garsdale, Wharfedale, and Chapel-le-Dale. Quite a unique property with quality appliances giving a home from home feeling. Loved the snug utilising the log fire each night. Thought the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Beds were nice and comfortable. Would definitely return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely mix of old and modern. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen very well equipped. Really enjoyed the welcome pack. Still no blinds in the bathroom. I suggested a hinged screen. I wouldn't want to be getting in the bath next to the window with the light on, I put a holdall in front of the window for my daughter. Locals park in front of the house but still space to park. Path needs clearing as I nearly slipped on the wet grass which has grown over it. Difficult accessing the drier due to large drier stand. These are not complaints though ! The house is fabulous!!
