Hackney House in Reeth is highly praised for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable furnishings. The property's location is ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, with easy access to local pubs and scenic walks. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including a welcome hamper and quality linen. While there are minor mentions of maintenance issues and cleanliness, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, making it a recommended stay for large groups and family gatherings.
Most guests found Hackney House to be clean and welcoming. There were a few comments about specific areas that could be improved, such as the hoover being full and a musty smell in one room, but these were not widespread concerns.

Guests report that the house is very comfortable, with enough room for large groups, comfortable beds, and ample seating. There was a single mention of a shower lacking power, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.
The facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-stocked kitchen and the number of bathrooms. Some guests suggested improvements, such as better waste disposal information and a more powerful shower in one en-suite, but these are minor compared to the overall positive feedback.
While guests have mentioned a welcome hamper and other thoughtful amenities, without more information on the consistency of these offerings across different stays, it is not possible to accurately score this category. However, it should be noted that such gestures, when provided, are appreciated.

Itâs also in an amazing location and within walking distance to the village Reeth and the lovely friendly pub the Black Bull. The owner James reached out to us before we arrived, he couldnât do enough for us. We would totally recommend James and Hackney House.
