There are steps up to the front door of the property and tiered garden. There is also a step between rear entrance hall and kitchen.
Up to four well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge).
Day entry passes to Castle Howard valid for the day of your choice (subject to seasonal public opening times, please click here for more information). The house and gardens are open seasonally (usually from around April to October), however please make sure to check before you visit and book ahead.
Guests will receive a £20 voucher to use at the Castle Howard's Farm Shop.
Initial wood supply provided in baskets by the wood burning stoves.

Loved this cottage. Great location in a very beautiful area. Very well equipped. Perfect enclosed garden for our dog and walks from the front gate.

Generally comfortable, but settee in sitting room not very user friendly. Great fun peacock spotting.

Beautifully kept property, comfortable lounge with separate dining room area. Very comfortable beds with good bathroom facilities. The water pressure is spectacular! We're very glad we stayed there.
