Lounge furniture very sad and uncomfortable. Insufficient instructions for central heating control, especially as we needed to reset the timer for clock change. Quite a few issues with cleanliness, cobwebs, dirty dishes/pans. Very tight to move around double bed, now sport several large bruises as frame stuck out further than mattress. Many lights not working. Pantry light ceiling rose was sparking when switched on. The state of the front entrance way was very poor and unsafe in wet weather. Front door and twin bedroom window frame are rotten. No doormat provided to avoid tramping in mud etc.

The key safe catch is worn smooth and difficult to open. The upper panel of the front door is rotten. Not a welcoming first impression. The low voltage lights in open plan room are too dim and do not reflect the bright photos in your website. Very antiquated fixed shower over difficult to access bath, hazardous for elderly. Piping hot water from taps but only-luke warm in shower. Lack of signage off lane. Problem shared by neighbours. BBC channels constantly pixilating to the point of unusable. Wi-Fi connections erratic despite visit from Open Reach mechanic. Comfortable lounge furniture and beds. But limited wardrobe space. Excellent central heating system. Peaceful location with regular visits from neighbouring peacock. Easy access to regional attractions. Recommend Pickering/Whitby steam railway, CedarBarn farm shop & Cafe en-route to Thorton le Dale, Cropton New Inn.
