A light, bright former fisherman's cottage, full of character situated in Bloomswell, one of the quiet old ginnels in the village of Robin Hood's Bay. Tastefully furnished but retaining some lovely old features including wooden floors and stone fireplaces, made cosy by a woodburner. The lounge has a large south facing picture window with stunning views over the rooftops to the sea and the towering cliffs of Ravenscar.

ground floor:

Entrance: Hallway.

Lounge/Kitchen: Open-plan with TV, DVD and iPod docking station. Large window, window seat and original fireplace with wood burning stove. Fridge, freezer, electric cooker with grill and oven, microwave. Breakfast bar with stools and steep spiralled stairs leading to first floor.

Bathroom: Walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin.

lower ground floor:

Bedroom 1: Twin beds, original stone fireplace, exposed stone wall and beamed ceiling.

first floor:

Bedroom 2: Four poster bed, built-in wardrobe, dressing table and reclining bedroom chair to take advantage of sea views.

Pets: One well behaved dog welcome.

Parking: Parking: Parking permit for the Fisherhead Car Park for one car (subject to the previous guests having returned it to the cottage). Camper vans, mini buses, vans and trade vans over half a ton are not allowed.

Garden: Two benches on lower Bloomswell provide an outdoor seating area.

Heating: Gas central heating.

Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.

Notes: Please bring your own towels. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is variable. The stairs that lead down to the lower ground floor are rather steep and open tread.
