Heather Croft is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, stunning views, and prime location near Robin Hood's Bay. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, and the added convenience of on-site parking. The garden and decking area are highlights, offering a serene outdoor space. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.
The cottage is consistently described as clean and tidy, with several guests highlighting its spotlessness upon arrival. There was a single mention of the kitchen not being very clean, but the owner was quick to offer a remedy, indicating a high standard of cleanliness and responsiveness to guests' needs.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views over Robin Hood's Bay and proximity to local attractions. Guests appreciate the short walk to pubs, shops, and the bay itself. The convenience of the location for exploring the surrounding area and the availability of parking are frequently mentioned as significant positives.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a 'home from home' feel and cosy furnishings. Overall, the comfort level is regarded as high, contributing to the enjoyable stays reported by guests.
The cottage is well-equipped with kitchen facilities, games, and outdoor spaces, which guests find satisfactory. However, there are comments about minor maintenance issues such as a toilet door not locking and suggestions for updates. These small concerns slightly impact the score, but the overall sentiment towards the facilities remains positive.
While guests express gratitude for the well-equipped cottage and mention welcome packs with biscuits, there is insufficient information to evaluate the consistency of thoughtful gestures such as gifts. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such amenities are provided to all guests.
Lovingly refurbished, Heather Croft is a superb detached red brick property overlooking Robin Hood's Bay and within a 10 minute walk of the beach and harbour. The immaculate living accommodation is open plan giving the property a light and airy feel, whilst the full oil central heating ensures that the cottage is warm and welcoming in all seasons. A particular feature are the French doors from both kitchen and sitting room which lead onto a balcony/decking area with lovely views over open countryside to the coast beyond. The perfect place for a relaxing holiday on the Yorkshire Coast - a delightful property in a superb location!
The coastal village of Robin Hood's Bay is situated between Scarborough and Whitby on the Yorkshire coastline. It has narrow cobbled streets and charming fisherman's cottages all intertwined with the alleyways and fitted into the nooks and crannies of the village. The backdrop to this fishing village is stunning with dramatic cliffs and moorland scenery at the edge of a wide sweeping bay. The beach and cliffs offer some tremendous walks, and various footpaths and trails pass through the area, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Cleveland Way being two of the most popular. The amenities in the village are excellent, and there are attractions for all interests and ages. Robin Hood's Bay is a superb base for an enjoyable holiday in this fabulous area.

Close to the Cinder Track and the Coastal path. There is a handy bus service passing through in case you prefer to leave the car parked up. It is a real home from home with good kitchen equipment for those self catering. We loved it.

We would definitely book again

Having parking for two cars was a real bonus. The house is spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and it is well equipped to be able to cook. There is a dishwasher which isnât mentioned in the house details. We loved having the deck to sit out on with great views and friendly neighbours.
