Guests consistently praise the cottage for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and prime location close to local attractions. The property is well-equipped for a comfortable stay, with a special mention of a welcome pack adding a thoughtful touch. While mostly positive, a suggestion for a new mattress and the addition of an oven glove indicate room for minor improvements.
Reviewers frequently mention the cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as well looked after, with no negative comments on this aspect.
The location is highly praised for being peaceful and close to both the seafront and town centre, with easy access to local sights.
Comfort is highlighted with mentions of a cosy atmosphere and good sleep quality, though one comment suggests the mattress could be replaced.
Facilities are generally commended, including the presence of a washer/drier, but the absence of an oven glove and a preference for a table and chairs over a breakfast bar suggest minor areas for improvement.
The welcome pack is appreciated, indicating thoughtfulness, but as gifts are not guaranteed, future guests should consider this a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

It's in a brilliant location and is very clean and well looked after. Beds are comfortable and we all got a good night's sleep, area is nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. Only one minor thing is that an oven glove would have been very handy.
Chris
Ideally located for both seafront and town centre Would definitely book again if we headed to scarborough.

We had a lovely stay, the cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great, very peaceful and just a short walk from St Marys Church, the castle and the cliffs overlooking the north bay.
