Nestled in the village of Aislaby, near Whitby, is this grand 18th century property, Aislaby Hall. Aislaby Hall is a property that has a wealth of history and was rebuilt in World War II after being occupied by soldiers. Offering an extensive living area, with stunning views of the North Yorkshire countryside, Aislaby Hall is the perfect retreat for a large family or group of friends, accommodating up to ten guests and two well-behaved dogs. Travelling down the horseshoe drive, park up in front of your new abode and admire its character and country charm. Starting your staycation in the homely sitting room, you'll find plenty of space for your entire party to relax, set in front of the open fire, Smart TV, and uninterrupted views of the garden. The perfect home for any children in the family, explore the snug/games room, boasting an array of books and games to entertain all, no matter the weather. Stepping through to the conservatory, enjoy some friendly competition with both a pool table and dart board for use; there's also a sitting area, fittingly placed in front of the suntrap patio. Beyond the hallway, you'll also find a generously-size kitchen/diner, complete with essential appliances, helping you cater for your party; turn on the TV whilst preparing a home-cooked meal, and serve in the formal dining room. Ruswarp is a little community on the River Esk, 1.5 miles inland from Whitby, with historic stone cottages line the main street. Ruswarp is well-equipped, with a local pub serving hand-pulled real ales, a village shop, and a well-known butcher. The Esk Valley Walk runs through the village, and it's only a 25-minute walk to Whitby's town centre. Ruswarp has a daily bus service, and steam locomotives travel through the single-track railway on a regular basis! Enjoy an hour of river boating, a ride on the tiny train, a snack at the tea shop, or a ride on the miniature train. A fantastic base for visiting the North York Moors and the nearby coastline.
