The previous occupant's rubbish was left in the hallway and no council refuse sack to dispose with. A search to find one behind the door in the hallway revealed a horribly mouldy, dilapidated external toilet. A good location to explore Whitby being situated on a main shopping street, but we could hear noise from the street through the single sheet windows and music from downstairs beneath the living room. The parking here is unfortunate being at times a distance to walk to Zone W depending on how lucky you are finding a space, this is of course more to deal with the influx of tourists than the property. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

The info left in the cottage was great though. Would recommend x

It has 2 toilets which was great when 2 families occupying . The spiral stairs were a challenge for older visitors but we were expecting that . We needed to prop kitchen window open as very warm during our visit . Seagulls a bit of a nuisance but thatâs everywhere in Whitby ! ( ear plugs provided) .I would have liked a pouffe to put feet up after a dayâs walking !
