When it’s time to head out in the morning, you’re already in the best place for exploring the wonderful town of Whitby with its great selection of shops and eateries as well as the infamous Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula and hugely popular with visitors to this day. The Captain Cook Memorial Museum is well worth a visit too whilst in Whitby, or if you want to venture further afield then check out the North Yorkshire Moors Railway which takes you on a fascinating and scenic journey.
