The village offers inns and a thriving local shop, whilst just a short drive takes you to the National Trust's Pepperbox Hill, from where there are magnificent views towards Salisbury and scenic walks. Alternatively, explore the picturesque New Forest National Park, where wild ponies and cattle roam freely. Visit the magnificent cathedral cities of Salisbury or Winchester, both easily accessible from Whiteparish, or travel a little further afield and take a trip to Southampton, where a day trip to the Isle of Wight may tempt you, or just spend a lazy day watching the busy boating scene.
