Foxglove is a well-received holiday lodge, praised for its cleanliness, stunning views, and peaceful surroundings. Guests enjoy the hot tub, the friendly host Denise, and the presence of animals. The challenging access track is noted, but the secluded location is part of its charm. The property is well-equipped, though minor suggestions for improvements are made.
Guests consistently describe the property as spotless and very clean, indicating a high standard of cleanliness maintained by the hosts.
The location scores highly for its stunning views and tranquillity. However, the steep and potholed access track is a concern for some, slightly affecting the score.
The lodge is frequently described as cosy, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a particularly comfortable bed and a relaxing hot tub, contributing to a high comfort level.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the hot tub and kitchen amenities. However, a few guests missed items like a towel rail or a cafetiere, suggesting room for improvement.
The host's thoughtfulness is highlighted by mentions of a welcome basket and fresh eggs. While these gestures are appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

It was comfortable, cosy and very peaceful. The conversion had been done to a very high standard and provided us with everything we could possibly want from a holiday let. A real bonus was the amazing view from the properties. We were able to look out over the valley and the moors with the added attraction of being able to see the steam trains of the North York Moors railway passing by. Our days started with the most amazing sunrises.

The views were amazing from foxglove and you could sit in hot tub and watch the steam train go by. You also get a gift for you when you arrive but you will have to book.to find that one out. All in all I would definitely recommend foxglove
