Ideal for couples or a family of four, this pet-friendly dwelling provides off-road parking for two cars, self-catering essentials, and extensive shared grounds to explore. Inside, a spacious open-plan living space with a high ceiling and exposed beams greets you. Beautiful nature surrounds Glaisdale, a tranquil community on the North York Moors National Park's edge. One hotel/pub with restaurant and a post office in the general shop. Other nearby attractions include Whitby and the seashore (9 miles), Hutton-le-Hole, Lastingham, Thornton Dale and Pickering (market town). Alternatively, visit Saltburn by the Sea, a lovely Victorian beach resort, for a more tranquil experience. You may enjoy a steam train trip over stunning moorland countryside from Grosmont, which is close by.

We loved our stay here and if we were to visit the area again would happily stay here again. Not a long drive to any of the large sea side towns through some beautiful and scenic countryside. Would definitely recommend.

We had to wash the cups, which were stained as were some plates and cutlery. One of the bins in the kitchen had what appeared to be tea stains on the lid. The bathroom floor was also quite dusty behind the door. Quite disappointed.

We had a loverly break away from it all, The cottage is just far enough from everything to feel you are in the middle of nowhere, peace and quiet is in abundance, Yet only 15/20 min from Whitby and surrounding areas for any hustle and bustle you like Very comfortable with everything you needed for a loverly break Thank you
