Sleepers cottage in Whitby is praised for its excellent location, with easy access to local attractions and the bonus of a parking space. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and views of the harbour and abbey. While some guests mention comfortable stays, others suggest improvements in bed comfort and maintenance of facilities. Thoughtfulness in terms of welcome packs is mixed, with some guests expecting such amenities.
Most guests find Sleepers cottage to be clean and well-presented, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few reviews mention specific cleanliness issues, such as a dirty oven and cobwebs, which slightly lower the overall impression.
The cottage's location is highly praised for its proximity to the town centre, flat access, and the rarity of having a parking space in Whitby. The scenic views and convenience for exploring the area are consistently noted as highlights.
While some guests report a cosy and comfortable experience, there are several mentions of uncomfortable beds and issues with the shower temperature. These factors suggest that while the property has potential for comfort, there is room for improvement.
Facilities at Sleepers are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and the convenience of two toilets. However, guests have reported maintenance issues such as stiff taps, a problematic gas hob, and a lack of up-to-date information on appliance use.
