The cottage's location is frequently praised for its proximity to the town centre and local amenities. However, some guests note traffic noise and parking difficulties, which slightly detract from the perfect score.

The property has been renovated to a high standard, it was warm and comfortable. Road parking close to the property was not a problem during our stay. A minor irritation was the storage in the two main bedrooms, a wardrobe with some shelving would have made life easier. Also only having a light and table on one side of the double beds was a bit awkward (first world problems :). We couldn't find anywhere locally to buy the correct coffee pods, but plenty of coffee shops with nice cake as an alternative!

Very clean on arrival. Sofa extremely uncomfortable and cushions provided were full of feathers which were coming out all the time. Yes cushions looked nice but again not ideal. Very comprehensive handbook but instructed to leave our rubbish at rear of property which was a green bin overfilled which we can only imagine previous occuppiers had left and not been emptied for some time.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable with absolutely everything you would need.A great base for exploring North Yorkshire with some good pubs and restaurants within a five minute walk. Hope to revisit again soon.
