We found the accommodation suited all our needs and the kitchen was very well equipped. The tea/coffee and milk on arrival was much appreciated. The bathrooms were equipped with hand soap and a toilet roll. The large garden provided plenty of space for football etc and the outlook over the fields provided a tranquil setting whilst enjoying a glass of wine or two. Although the ownerâs property is directly behind the Hall this was not an issue and I am a person who likes their privacy. There is a small portable bbq provided but we took our larger one and found this to be beneficial for the size of group. The location to York was ideal and the children and adults had a day full of fun at the York Maze. The Co-Op in the village was great for those odd items. I had organised a food delivery for the evening of arrival.
