It is beautifully furnished and has all the equipment one could wish for. The en-suite bedrooms were a particular bonus. Claire was very helpful indeed and the welcome basket was a much-appreciated touch.

The owner of the property, Claire, was lovely and was so incredibly helpful and caring. She provided us with a lovely and welcome box of goodies upon arrival and even some treats for our doggy, Esther; thank you so much Claire. The property was very clean and tidy throughout with a bathroom or en-suite for each of the three bedrooms, which was really useful. The enclosed garden area with the large table and chairs was great and so safe for our dog; we sat out there to eat and drink a few times as the weather was so sunny and good. The open lounge area with beautiful, well equipped kitchen was so impressive and we enjoyed spending the mornings and evenings in there very much. There is ample car parking space on a large drive for several cars at this property. We would highly recommend eating out at the excellent Half Moon pub just over the road from Fisherman's Lodge, the food is excellent, really tasty. We ate there twice and had one takeaway from the pub and ate this in the garden at the property - lovely! Claire and Marcus had provided everything we needed at the Lodge and more. We would highly recommend staying here for your holiday. There are so many places to visit nearby, which we did, such as beautiful Hornsea, York, Bridlington, Pocklington and Scarborough to name a few. We loved Hornsea, which was such a pretty seaside town and all the shops, cafes and attractions available in York. Thank you so much Claire and the team for such an excellent stay in your lovely property at Fisherman's Lodge. We would highly recommend staying here to others, and so dog friendly too! Very best wishes, Julia, David, Kate and Jim Priestley, and Esty our dog. xxxxx
