Situated in the delightful village of Beadlam, near the market town of Helmsley, North Yorkshire, Auburn House is a beautiful detached period property built from local stone and brick. Providing high-quality accommodation for up to 8 people, this is the ideal location for a family holiday exploring the delights of Yorkshire. They say the kitchen is the heart of the home and that's particularly true of Auburn House. The generous and fully equipped kitchen/diner has comfortable seating as well as a dining table, plus a woodburning stove and a TV with Freeview channels. Theres also a separate utility with washing machine, as well as a comfortable sitting room with TV and gas fire. The ground floor accommodation is completed by a shower room with walk-in shower, WC and basin and a lovely double bedroom with zip/link bed. Upstairs are a further 3 bedrooms, 1 twin and 2 doubles, all of a generous size with the master bedroom boasting an en-suite. Theres also a further family bathroom with bath tub, WC and basin. All the bedrooms enjoy lovely views over the village and garden. Auburn House is decorated to a very high standard throughout. Outside, theres ample off road parking for several cars and a lovely landscaped garden. The patio area is ideal for a cup of coffee in the morning or a relaxing glass of wine after a hard days sightseeing and the whole garden is a lovely peaceful place. If youre keen to explore the excellent cycling trails, theres plenty of secure storage for bikes. Auburn House is in a very convenient village location with the local pub and restaurant just a short stroll away. Helmsley, just under 3 miles away, has a lovely mix of independent shops, galleries and boutiques plus bars and restaurants offering everything from fine dining to award-winning delis. Dont miss the National Centre for Birds of Prey, the Castle and the Walled Garden. Further afield lie all the beauties of the North York Moors National Park, a haven for nature lovers and keen cyclists alike. From the spectacular coastline to stunning views over the Moors, North Yorkshire has so much to offer whether you want to enjoy the great outdoors or take in a festival or two. Perfect for discovering everything this beautiful region has to offer, Auburn House is an ideal spot for a half term break or a summer holiday.
A village in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, Beadlam is directly joined onto another village, Nawton. The village offers a pub serving food and a local fish and chip shop. Nearby, about 3 miles away, is the market town of Helmsley, historically important for it's 12th century castle. There is walking on the doorstep with the national trail, Cleveland Way, starting in Helmsley, which has views of the coast and ancient stone crosses.
